Traditional Christians recite the Nicene Creed each week during the Holy Communion Service. Within the Creed is the expressed belief that Jesus Christ was “conceived by the Holy Spirit from the Virgin Mary.” God blesses and sanctifies human nature beginning in the womb of the Blessed Virgin. The journey of salvation begins in the womb. True life, as it is blessed and taken on by Jesus, begins at conception. At conception the Holy Spirit of the Son joined to human nature and began the journey of redemption. Our journey into redemption begins at the same time and in the same place. Choose Life.
